Multiscale Surface Characterization of Composite Polymer Insulator Surfaces
We’re proud to highlight Dr. Dennis Hore from the University of Victoria’s Department of Chemistry, a long-standing research collaborator with ASAsoft® (Canada) Inc., who will be presenting at the 2025 INMR World Congress in Panama this October.
His discourse, “Multiscale Surface Characterization of Composite Polymer Insulator Surfaces,” explores molecular-level mechanisms governing silicone surface behaviour under electrical, chemical, and environmental stresses.
Building on this work, Sanskruti Padmawar will also present ASAsoft®’s upcoming Digital Twin initiative, integrating manufacturing, field, and laboratory data into a simulation framework for predicting material degradation and performance in real-world grid environments.
Together, these efforts represent a unified approach toward data-driven reliability, sustainability, and design optimization in modern power systems to bridge laboratory science with field-validated engineering.

📅 Session: October 20, 2025
📍 Venue: INMR World Congress, Panama City, Panama
